Vazhakkai Poriyal | Raw Banana Dry Curry

Vazhakkai Poriyal
Raw Banana is known as Vazhakkai in Tamil and Aratikaya in Telugu. It is also referred to as Plantain. I have already posted Vazhakkai Varuval and Vazhakkai Podimas. Serve this raw banana dry fry with tomato rasam or Sambar and rice for lunch. This raw banana fry is quite different. Fennel seeds, ginger, garlic and garam masala items are added to give a unique taste and flavor. Please check below for step by step instructions and pictures for preparing South Indian Raw Banana Dry Curry | Vazhakkai Poriyal
